Maison & Objet Paris January 2018

Also for this edition of Maison & Objet January 2018 we have been selected to exhibit at "What's New?" In Maison & Objet HALL 3 with the theme "Showroom" that inspired our preview with 3 Berber carpets, all coming from the Atlas area in Morocco.

The rugs of this region are famous for the softness of wool and the designs that trace variable geometries with a symbology of the specific area of origin. All handcrafted are the creative expression and inspiration of the moment, so each rug is a small work of art, unique, not replicable. The material used is mainly wool, which forms a natural colored background to then cross into other colors with original patterns. Ideal for a house furnished with contemporary style but it is well suited even in environments with classic connotations.

Showroom at Maison&Objet

Afolki Berber Rugs will be showcasing the new 201 Collection of Berber rugs and mats in Paris.

The winter version of Maison& Object will be taking place from 19 to 23 January 2018, and Afolki Berber Rugs will once again be present, in the ACTUEL space, in HALL 5B, Pavilion H37, with our original, vibrant collections of Berber rugs from the High and Medium Atlas mountains in the Sub-Saharan region (Mauritania/Niger)

The theme of the trade fair in Paris will be SHOWROOM, selected by the organisers of Maison&Object to represent the new trends inspiring the home decor and furnishing market all the exhibitors are called upon to operate in.

In this new space, Afolki will be presenting extraordinary collections of Beni Ourain, Azilal and Talsent Berber rugs, accompanied and enhanced by a selection of Berber mats with designs, materials and sizes able to blend in tastefully with both modern and classic settings.

Mohamed El Alami, the skilled owner and manager of the Afolki showroom, will be pleased to take visitors on an informative journey through the artistic creations of the Berber peoples who have skilfully crafted the unique, original pieces featured in the various collections.
